Oh dreary days like today when it's cold outside, I absolutely LOVE waking up to the smell of something yummy in the slow cooker!! I also LOVE how eating Comfort Food doesn't have to be bad for you or derail all of your effort that you've put into getting healthy and fit!! I hope you enjoy this dish as much as my family has.
Slow Cooker Italian Chicken
Ingredients
*4-6 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
*1 jar CLEAN marinara sauce (look for low sodium, low sugar and be able to pronounce all the ingredients)
* 1 Package frozen spinach
Directions
*Place chicken breasts in bottom of slow cooker
*Cover chicken breasts with marinara sauce
*Add spinach on top and lightly mix with sauce
*Cook on low for 8 hours
I serve this with a side salad and steamed veggies, ENJOY!!
